Jacob’s life has been somewhat movie-like; from growing up as a talented basketball player, to a 180 into performing as a musician & rapper, to present day where he has grown roots as a family man and dedicated yogi, cooking up his next big move.

The chronicles of Jacob’s life have been somewhat movie-like; from growing up as a talented basketball player, to a 180 into performing as a musician & rapper, to present day where he has grown roots as a family man and dedicated yogi, cooking up his next big move.

When Jacob was younger, he had “hoop dreams” and was aiming for an athletic scholarship, but for fun, he decided to explore his flair for singing. He released his first album in 1998, which would go on to catch the attention of prominent record labels, such as Interscope records. But it wouldn’t be until 2001 that Jacob would sign his first record deal and sell 150,000 albums, landing him a #1 Billboard Single. Jacob has continued to release music ever since, touring the world and still actively recording his signature feel-good style music imbued with powerful messages of love and faith.

But despite his abundant success as a musician, Jacob was in a dark place; he was struggling with chronic TMJD - a painful jaw disorder he lived with for almost 15 years. When the pain culminated to an almost unbearable point, Jacob started to search tirelessly for relief when he was given the sage advice to give yoga a try. And after consistently attending classes for a month, Jacob was shocked by his new physical and emotional vitality and has been hooked ever since.

When asked what keeps him centered throughout his creative pursuits, Jacob cites yoga, breath work, prayer, meditation, and his family as his best tools; but credits CBD as the game-changing counterpart that brought his zen to another level. Not only has CBD relieved the negative symptoms associated with his TMJD and lower back pain, its helped him get a restful nights sleep. Using Neurogan to fight pain and clear his mind has provided him with a profound sense of calmness and relief, so he can spend more time inspired by the things that matter.

With the completion of his 200 hour yoga teacher training certification and plans to open his own yoga studio, I’m sure Jacob would agree, that his story has a happy ending that sounds like music to our ears.
