One constant in Laryn’s life had always been fitness. Laryn’s love of movement and working out had started in high school when she joined the cross country running team. But it wasn’t until 2009, when she tried a fitness DVD Yoga workout, that she saw her dance background and love of fitness, merge into one.
With a now ten-year yoga practice, Laryn has attended over 3,000 yoga classes. And after completing her teaching training in 2017, she garnered a spot as a certified Yoga teacher at CorePower Yoga. She felt like she was finally living her, “purpose”.
But as her yoga career flourished, she noticed that an old habit was starting to rear its ugly head. A self-proclaimed night-owl, she had struggled with sleep for as long as she could remember. “Growing up, I used to always say, ‘I’ll sleep when I’m dead’”. Her sleepless nights extended through childhood, college, and law school until she noticed that her lack of sleep was getting in the way of her goals- she knew it was time to make a change.
After hearing the hype about CBD’s sleep benefits, she bought some on a whim and has never looked back. “I started taking CBD oil under my tongue before bedtime and I noticed I was instantly calm and ready for bed. I didn’t think it was possible for me, but now I recommend it to all of my friends and family as the perfect sleep aid.”
Laryn’s yoga practice continues to grow and thrive, while she teaches students how to perform their best downward dogs all throughout the San Diego area- but her favorite achievement as of late is saying goodbye to her nocturnal days.
